The Innovation Revolution Science Fair was held on Saturday, 26th of March 2016 at MSB Haidery. Students of Grades 6,7 and 8 participated in the fair. Days of hard work spent in inquiry, research and designing of projects led to this highly appreciated educational event.
There were a total 43 groups of students, with each group named after an element from the periodic table. Their projects were of experimental, model-based or research-oriented nature.Out of the 43 projects, 22 were researched based, 9 were experimental and 12 had working models. 3 of the research based topics also had video presentations.
Notable projects included but were not limited to:Fluid mosaic model,Why yawning is contagious?How stress affects your body,Making a toothpaste,Why do some cakes rise and some cakes fall,Electricity generator,Vacuum cleaner, and Security alarm.
In the process of the science fair, students were introduced to the
scientific method, and they learned how to hypothesize, research and conduct experiments.
