On 24th of October students of class 7A/B headed towards an exciting and fun filled educational trip.
Their first destination was a PLY WOOD factory.
As students of science our class was very eager to understand processes of physical and chemical changes, and processes of manufacturing finished goods from raw materials.
They had a first hand experience of seeing raw wood being transformed to sheets of ply.
The students not only observed but were inquisitive about knowing and understanding the process by asking lots of questions related to the raw materials, binding agents, machinery, finished product and procedures of transport and supply.
As they learn in classrooms about reusing and recycling of waste material, they were amazed to see how the waste material was being recycled to produce FUEL.
Students were inspired by the laborious efforts of the factory workers, their concentration and dedication towards their task and how they strived to achieve a particular target in a given time. The management of the factory were very cooperative guiding the students and answering their questions with clear explanations.
They served the students with chips and juices which was highly appreciable 🙂
