“Spelling is important because it aids in reading. It helps cement the connection that is shared between sounds and letters.”  

A Spelling Bee Competition was organized on 27^th Jan 2017, for classes I till V. This competition was one out of the numerous enjoyable competitions that gave students a platform to learn and improve their spellings, increase their vocabulary, develop their concepts, and enhance the usage of correct English.

Children participated enthusiastically and performed well to the best of their ability. Their efforts and initiative was appreciated by one and all.

Preliminary rounds for the competition were conducted on 6^th, 13^th & 20^th Jan’2017.

The rounds of the competition for the final day were as under:

• First Round: Team round
• Second Round: Individual round
• Third Round: Rapid fire
