It was a bright sunny day on 12th Feb ’19 when students reached school carrying their essentials. Enthusiasim anticipated them throughout the journey to the plywood factory and by the time we reached our destination, they couldn’t wait to see the theory learned in class about the Industries and how the primary work such as raw materials, transformed into a finished product through secondary work.
MSB Haidery sows seeds of learning in its students and to provide them fresh air to ensure their optimum growth, various field trips are organized throughout the year.
‘A visit to Plywood factory’ was one of the such opportunities provided to the students of classes VII and VIII, which proved to be condusive to their learning at length. How it takes a log to change into a sheet of plywood was beyond any doubt an absorbing and fascinating watch for all of them. They watched the whole process with interest and enjoyed a lot.
Situated in the heart of Hub, Balochistan, the plywood factory, seemed to be a small project but had state of the art mechanism throughout.
Shk Mansoor bhai Kakkal wala, along with his nephew curated our students and guided them about the whole process of transformation. Refreshments were served to all which was again a kind gesture of the host.
The students were then taken to Burhani Recreational Park to refresh themselves where they had their scrumptious lunch, played some outdoor sports and performed Zohar and Asar namaz. Later we all set off for school again at around 2:45 pm.
