On Wednesday, the 20th of January 2016, students of Class VI of Al Madras tus Saifiyatul Burhaniyah-Haidery went on an educational trip to the Zoological Garden Karachi.The students were studying about Ecology in Science and the main objectives behind the trip were:
\n* To classify different factors as biotic and abiotic in the environment.
\n* To understand the interdependence of plants and animals on each other.<\/p>\n
A total of 46 students and 4 teachers visited the zoo.
\nStudents saw different kinds of animals like lions, tigers, snakes, turtles, crocodiles, elephants, as well as different breeds of birds such as peacocks.
\nStudents also visited a lake in the zoo where they found animals like ducks, swans, alligators and crocodiles. Mughal Garden is also another great attraction in the zoo. This garden is full of colorful flowers and has a grassy plot.
\nStudents found this trip very informative and interesting as it helped them to understand and relate class lessons and they felt that such educational trips are helpful in enhancing their knowledge.<\/p>\n
