FIELD TRIP TO JAHANGIR PARK
Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs.
Students of Prep ll embarked on their much awaited trip to Jahangir Park today (18-12-2018) at 09 a. m. with the eagerness of bringing alive their learning. They left school with alot of excitement, questions and fear of meeting the gigantic creatures.
As soon as they reached the park and got the glimpse of the 1st huge dinosaur, they could not believe their sight. Most of them were ready for the adventure, whilst few were confused but all in all they gathered up their courage and rushed to explore it. Not long, when suddenly the eyes started popping, bodies were freezed and screaming could be heard in the park when it moved its tail and opened its mouth. None of them were ready to accept that it wasn’t a real one.
They observed various species of huge dinosaurs, some with long neck, some with horns, both vegetarians and carnivorous and their huge eggs. They experienced their learning by getting inside the eggs too.
Learning through fun was depicted when they started relating it with their topic Dinosaurs
in Abacus.

*Language skills
*Scientific concepts
were clearly achieved through counting, observing, exploring, sorting, blending sounds and reading words from the bulletin boards.
With all the learning, they had a healthy snack time with yummy cakes and kababs and enough time to play in the play ground.
The adventurous trip came to its end and students returned with alot of excitement and eagerness to share their experiences with everyone.
