Art–a medium of creative expression, a reflection of the artistic thought, dreams and hopes provides nourishment and pleasure to the mind and the soul. The Art Room in a school provides an apt setting for the young artists of coming age. It is here that a child will be applauded for his first stroke with the paint brush, charcoal or pastel and be introduced to the immeasurable joy of colour, form and symmetry. Here he will be allowed the liberty to dabble in all mediums to come up with spectacular pieces of art full of meaning and reflecting precision of form. The art techniques he learns will not just provide him pleasure but spark his creativity and help him in his other curricular subjects.
